Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27, 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former government official who served as the Spokesperson for the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration from 2017 until the year 2019. She is a senior fellow of the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.



 



 Prior to her positions in the Department of State, she worked as an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as Acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy in the Trump administration from March until October 2018. Nauert was also appointed to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by President Trump.
