Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha - also popularly known as Gugu - is a British stage and film actress. Her fame was boosted by her role in BBC's 'Doctor Who' British TV show that is a science fiction. Handler was forced to become an actress to make ends meet. Handler at the time was 21 was able to concentrate on stand-up comedy full time when she discovered her story telling skills. Beginning Of career Handler started out her career as a member of the Oxygen network all-female cast for an undiscovered camera/real-life joke show on TV called Girls Behaving badly. From 2002 until 2005, the series aired. The host then appeared on other TV shows such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started working for The Tonight Show as a reporter. Handler received her first big break as she hosted her E! Show in 2006. called The Chelsea Handler Show. The show lasted during two consecutive seasons. The following year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcasted her stand-up show. In 2010, it was announced that she will be hosting MTV's Video Music Awards in 2010.
